plucked

I feel so in between.

I cannot bring myself to even begin writing about the last day (yet?)

We'll see.

Monica Graves I feel like someone punched me in the face with a blob of reality.

How do you make it better?

You realize that you need the time to ache and to pour, and after those moments have passed, you slowly begin to accept that you can never go back, and with this, you run with this, and you love it and you feel it in every single bone of your body, and it's beautiful, and it's raw. You remember all of the memories that have shaped you over the years and you appreciate them and the people who have influenced you. You thank them, you move on, and you keep in touch with those that meant something to you and will continue to. You gain a new appreciation for independence and reflect on the past occasionally, never going back, only sort of looking. When you have made newer friends and moved on, you return, if you please, to those people that met you in the sixth grade and remembered the stories you told about the black water in Guyana, and you laugh, and you cry (tears of joy) because you have realized what life is.
